Wildfire

Amidst the pandemic, the state forest service’s prescribed burn whipped into a wildfirein high winds.
The fire consumed 2200 acres of forest, fields, homes ...and hundreds of wooden power poles.
While the embers were still smoldering, Gulf Power crews rebuilt lines; restoring power within a day.

Mark’s and my footage felt so compelling and I wanted viewers to feel what we felt. I heightened the feel with special attention to the mood of the colour grade and an immersive sound design.
